Grandparents’ Day at Leg-in-Boot Square
Grandparents’ Day was a one-day activation that happened on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 at Leg-In-Boot Square (along the False Creek Seawall).
Brought to life as a collaboration between VDN, Convivial Café, False Creek South Neighbourhood Association, Cycling Without Age, and made possible by the City of Vancouver’s Community Placemaking Program.
VDN’s team leads on the project included Heather Tsang, Allison Chow & Theunis Snyman. This event featured several interventions:
Mushroom Forest
