Suds n’Sew Social: Ugly Sweater Edition

This edition of Suds n’Sew Social with the Vancouver Design Nerds is a special one! We’ll provide all kinds of ho-ho-hilarious supplies for you to adorn your own “ugly sweater” in preparation for the holiday season. We’ll have needles, thread, glue, fabrics and other fun things, but also feel free to bring a stash of textile supplies to use or share. Heck, bring a sewing machine if you feel like it!

Now, if you just feel like bringing your mending or fav jean jacket to patch up, that’s totally fine too. We get it, not everyone wants an ugly sweater 😛 Regardless of your project (or lack thereof) we invite you to show up and just hang out with us! One of the main reasons the Design Nerds exist is to re-knit our social fabric here in Van, which is known to be an isolating city sometimes. So join us for this event, and find a welcoming creative community!

Our Suds n’Sew events are held seasonally at Container Brewing in East Vancouver, and we welcome anyone interested in a creative, chill, respectful and safe evening out. Kids can join too, but we ask that guardians supervise sewing crafts.
