Design Nerd Jam 4.3 – MAKE JAM

Join us on August 13th for a productive hands on studio jam to make our Urban Intervention projects tangible and deployable.

Main St. and 30th (behind IFOUND Gallery)

The general idea is that Inter-vert-ions make seed balls and deploy-able container gardens using a multitude of found containers and hooks; Reflective Paint make stencils and test them out in the alleyway; Musical B have a practice jam with instruments; Parking Meter creates stickers and signs to deploy. We can draw a map to mark our targets, this could either be a shared google map and/or a poster that we physically mark. Please get in touch with the project leaders (see message below for contact info) to learn more about each project and to get involved specifically. Some teams are meeting ahead of time.

We’ll be collecting materials in the meantime and storing them at Ocean’s studio. Please get in touch with her to arrange a drop off time (ocean.dionne.design@gmail.com). We are looking for clean dirt, native plant seeds, random containers, large sheets of cardboard, music stands, etc.

Otherwise, just bring yourself, some beverages, some tools and your imagination.
