Design Nerd Jam 4.5 – Bringing Light to Darkness

As the days grew shorter and light became more scarce, it was time to bring on some created light and boost our circadian rhythms! Light Play, the next Design Nerd Jam topic, was an evening dedicated to playing with light generation, light design, and videoing. Some cool city characters were making wild videos with light that inspired this jam – like the light painting by Freezelight (http://vimeo.com/groups/4056/videos/8669028) or FlyFire by MIT (http://senseable.mit.edu/flyfire/).

The products from the evening were refined to be replayed in the urban environment at select locations in Vancouver.
