Design Nerd Fundraiser + Mini Jam

Posted by on Feb 3, 2017 in nerd jam, nerd news

Join us IRL (in real life) for part Party / part Jam. This will be our first-ever VDN Fundraiser… yes, Nerds need love too! Please support the Vancouver Design Nerds Society through cost of admission, so we can continue to bring Design Jams and Urban Interventions to our community.

EPIC Prizes!

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Leavetown, a local Vancouver-based boutique vacation offering accommodations and activities in experiential destinations. They have generously sponsored an epic prize worth over $1000 – TWO Digital Detox weekend getaways to Whistler! See below for details!

Game Plan
Music, drinks, snacks, mixing, networking, mingling and jamming!

Prize Draw
The prizes will be drawn at 9.30pm. Please note, you must be present for the draw to win, or send a proxy (a friend who can claim the prize on your behalf)

Special Guests
Seattle Design Nerds – showcasing their installations, projects, and events south of the border!

Each grand prize will include 2 days of ski passes to Whistler Blackcomb and 2 nights’ accommodation at the fantastic Blackcomb Lodge, located in the heart of Whistler Village and close to the ski lifts. Blackcomb Lodge offers an indoor pool and hot tub, a sauna, and great proximity to tons of local shops, bars and restaurants. With so much to do nearby, it’s the perfect opportunity to put away those screens and enjoy connecting with other people and with nature.
